Letmusic Platinum uses AD797 which is a very low noise, low distortion operational amplifier. It is a straight forward sounding opamp with plenty of space and details in the soundstage. Midrange is clear, crisp and very transparent. The AD797 is very sensitive to power supply quality; a discrete regulated power supply with quality Phillips BC power capacitors and R-Core transformer has been specially designed to achieve the lowest noise pollution and the highest quality audio output.

 

Any amplifier should ideally have a bandwidth suited to the range of frequencies that it is intended to amplify, a narrow bandwidth will result in the loss of some signals, too wide will allow unwanted signals to pass through. In the case of an audio amplifier, these would include low frequency hum and perhaps mechanical noise, and audible hiss at high frequencies. The Letmusic Platinum features a low frequency cutoff selector that improves the amplifier's efficiency and low frequency response. The music background becomes quieter, bass is deeper with more details.

 

The left and right channels of the Letmusic Platinum are entirely separated with their own dedicated regulated power supply, top of the line, low noise and low distortion high fidelity operational amplifier and analog circuits. This fully maximizes channel separation and virtually eliminates crosstalk. Improving macro and micro musical details and dynamics.

Connection

There are three types of connections. Connection A is to directly connect streamer to mobile/tablet/pc (only storage audio files can be streamed by this type of connection), the other two types of connections (B & C) are able to stream storage audio files as well as online audio/music.

 No, it plays audio only.

 

2, Can Letmusic play online radio?

Yes it can.

iOS/OSX: Just simply use the build in AirPlay fuction that iOS/OSX includes.

Android: Requires root access in order to stream audio via DLNA/UPnP apps that are avalible on google play

PC: Can be streamed by an app called AirFoil(Please visit its developer website for more detail).

 

3, Can Letmusic play Youtube audio?

Yes it can.

4, If two devices connected to Letmusic, does it play both music at the same time?

No, Letmusic will only play for one device at a time.

 

5, Can Letmusic play online music which is from music provider?

Yes, it can. Please make sure the app from music provider supports AirPlay and UPnP/DLNA.

 

6, There's a little bit latency for Letmusic transforming music signal when using AirPlay device control. Is it normal? 

Yes, the latency is exiting for AirPlay only. The time is about less than 1 second long, which is  for Letmusic processing signal receiving. You may use connection C by a high speed router to get it improve. 

 

7, Do I need to setup connection to Letmusic every time I use it?

No, you don't. Letmusic requires one time setup and it stores the  connection record unless it is reset to original factory's setting.
